Anna Dello Russo, editor and creative consultant for Vogue Japan, is by far one of the most influential people gracing the fashion world today. She is the epitome of style, and I am always keen to see what she is wearing when trawling through Tommy Ton's snaps from fashion shows. She is not afraid to push boundaries, and in my opinion she can pull off any look. I could keep posting photos forever, I just love her! In the words of the fashionista herself- "I don't want to be cool, I want to be fashion".

sweep the streets

Today my friend Nicole and I roamed the local streets to take three style snaps for a competition Surf Stitch are holding. First prize is return flights, accommodation, tickets to Coachella 2012, a Sony smart phone and Sony tablet! To enter I had to answer Q: what inspires my sense of style?

A: I seek inspiration from both Australian and international fashion bloggers. Local bloggers provide me with ideas for the current season, and showcase fashion that is accessible locally in stores right now. Online stores look books and blogs provide ideas on how to style pieces, and conveniently all items are available to purchase online. Melbourne street style also influences me, and it's great that stores are now recognizing how influential street style is, and have real people featured on their websites.

The gorgeous Mila Kunis is the new face of Christian Dior for their Spring/Summer 2012 campaign. "I love to feel feminine when I'm on the red carpet. I find that Dior is an incredibly grounded house. I always thought what Dior does is so sophisticated, feminine and beautiful," Kunis told WWD.
